"We've been working on this job for nearly 5 years and thousands of hours," Chronoshiftdev wrote. "We never asked for even as far as LoL accounts a donation during all of this time, paying each the expenses from our pockets. We have denied and prohibited people that provided us tens of thousands of dollars to acquire access to the undertaking."
The message includes a link to a screen record of a dialogue with Zed, a person claiming to be a member of Riot's safety department employee. It starts off well enough, saying Riot's legal staff"is not super thrilled about your project sadly and is looking for a means to come to a mutually acceptable ending to it"
But the tone changes quickly when the developer involved fails to instantly play ball: Zed first implies that Riot is watching the Chronoshift team's actions in real time (like purported attempts to delete chat channels), then makes a flat demand for your chronoshift.dev website, the source code, and most of identifiable information that was shared with other developers.
"Give me exactly what I'm looking for and we will not sue. Refuse and we will," they stated. "I'm not thinking about dragging this out. If you feel you'd like to speak to legal representation you are certainly capable of doing this. I am on the security staff. I find things and people. I don't practice law and also have little/nothing to do with buy LoL smurf accounts any legal proceedings Riot is included . We can come to an agreement to end this now or we can both hand this off to counselor. To be honest I do not care either way"
